Coogan has crated a number of exhibitions of performance art, which she terms live exhibitions.
In 2009 she curated the first live performance based exhibition in Ireland, Accumulator, for the inauguration of the Center for Contemporary Art; VISUAL.
2010 she co-curated a watershed live exhibition of twenty Irish performance artists, Right Here, Right Now, in Dublin’s historic building Kilmainham Gaol.
2012 she co-curated LABOUR a live exhibition featuring eleven Irish women artists which toured to ]performancespace[,London, The Void, Derry, and The LAB, Dublin.
